Biography

Dr. Klesney-Tait’s research focuses on the role of neutrophils in the regulation of inflammation and sepsis. In particular, she is interested in triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1 (TREM-1), which is a component of the innate immune system, is expressed on neutrophils, and amplifies proinflammatory signaling and neutrophil migration.
