Dr. Ostedgaard has a long-standing track record in the biology and biochemistry of CF disease, with a focus on the structure/function CFTR, the molecular basis of mucin abnormalities in the lung and intestine of the CF pig, and the creation of functional CFTR mini-genes for rAAV-directed gene therapy.
