Dr. Ahrens has significant clinical research experience in the evaluation of pharmacologic treatments for CF, as well as in the clinical care of CF patients. His primary interests are: 1) the development of novel study designs to meet challenges in the pharmacologic management of CF pulmonary disease, and 2) in vivo and in vitro assessment of aerosol drug delivery to the lung.
